I'd be keen to hear how you get on with it. As you say, output in an NC
friendly format is a nice to have..

Thanks, I already knew about this and they do have a great program that
would work perfectly for me if only it had an output option for HPGL. But
it seems their main concern is for people to use their software for ordering
panels directly from them, not for independent usage. Reasonable
requirement, but useless for my purposes.

I just ordered this! For that little money, it's worth a try even if it's
not quite as good as I hope.
