Reputation is mixed- kind of a "love-hate" thing. I bought it, for about
$400 and hated it so much I quit using it. I never succeded in doing one
part with it.

Intuitave is NOT a word associated with this software, it is the
strangest interface known, except for BOBCAD, which is related and
equally obtuse.

There are discount deals offered to readers of this list, Fred posts
pointers to them frequently. They offer frequent upgrades for several
hundred $ each- if you dont keep up with the upgrades you dont get much
suport.

I like TurboCAD and Sheetcam. Yes, its two separate packages for CAD and
CAM, but I find it very easy to use. For 2D work I can do very big jobs
in minutes with Sheetcam. That was the best $150 I ever spent on
software, well, maybe second best to Mach, but right up there in my
winners circle.
