Newbie Questions

Hi All,

I am a newbie to DRO/CAD/CAM operations. I have used lathes and mills
for many years (model building hobby) and have recently acquired an
unopened CD of VectorXT 3d CAD/CAM's version of "VectorXT 9.6G 3D CAD
ONLY." The CD states it may be used for up to 6 months before it must be
registered. I don't want to install the software as yet since I will not be
needing it until some time in the future. I'll be using it with Sherline
products. Okay, now to my questions.

1. What's the reputation of this software against other hobby software in
the same price category? --BTW, what is the cost? I've been to their
website and all sorts of software is there. Very confusing to a newbie
like me.

2. How intuitive is it to learn?

3. Any other comments regarding VectorXT software would be appreciated.
