8-wire stepper motor

Hi,

I am trying to connect up an 8-wire stepper. I've checked with a multimeter
and the four coils are red/yellow, white/purple, blue/black and brown/green.
There is no label on this motor at all. The coils have a resistance of about
0.9 ohm. I am using a Vexta uni-polar driver.

How do I work out the sequence of the coils and which end of the coils in
each pair I should make common?
