Thankyou..That entirely answered my question with information that is
useful to me............I am not in any hurry to complete the lathe
upgrade. That lathe - 6000lbs- has been sitting dead for a full year in
corner of my shop, if it's completed and usable a year from now will be
fine.....From what you have told me I think it might be a good choice to
wait and see how the G-Rex Mach4 conbination works out.....This lathe has
hydraulic tailstock and hydraulic chuck and hydraulic parts catcher and
hydraulic turret toolpost- and naturally it has flood coolant - added up
there are need for some extra in and outs.
.
The G-rex solution might turn out to be a higher price than my 'chineshop
hobby can justify - so I best find where guys are talking about G-Rex/Mach4
and I'll pay attention/see what I can learn.
Thanks Les
Steven
