Not sure about # 2, but # 1 may be the view that
you're drawing in.. most use TOP view for .dxfs.. I
did that when I first started sending my files to my
laser guy. I was used to drawing them in the view as
they were on my desk in 3D and so a lot of my simple
drawings were in FRONT view instead of TOP... you can
pick side view and rotate 90 degrees one way or the
other in order to make it top (easiest way for me so
far).
