I already have a 3 KVA single phase one that I am going to use in my
retrofit. I guess I'll hang on to this one for a spare....... I wasn't
sure about the 3 phase though.

That's a 3KVA transformer...

I just used one portion driving gecko's in my BR retrofit. Works
great, takes advantage of the greater efficiency of modern bipolar
drives, AND gives the owners TWO "backup" transformers<G>. BUT...

As mentioned in an earlier post either here or in my DIY-CNC yahoo
group; I was able to take advantage of the fact that the line
voltage at my site was 208, and the trans was 220. So I never exceed
gecko's 80V specs. With Rutex, you won't have this limitation.
