Jessie,

No you do not need to give up.

Please tell us a little more about the machine that you have built or
upgraded.

The choice of gears and screws is very important.

Some of us will help. I can find you a good transformer at a good price.

Part of it may be in the tuning section of Mach3.

If you are using Mach3 there are a number of great tutorials that you can
download and review.
