Is that pronounced "Cee Why" or "sigh"? Can you give us more context?
There are so many kinds of motors, air, hydraulic, and dozens of types
of electric, AC induction, universal, Brushless DC, Brush DC, permanent-

magnet AC, and then in Brush-wound field motors, there are series,
shunt,
cumulative-compound and differential-compound. it goes on and on.
And, of course, application-specific motors, too.

I've never heard of this term, however.
