Re: 2 steppers-one axis?

My two cents worth. You shold never drive two motors from the same
drive. It has to do with load sharing. If one motor "sees" more load
than the other it will hog current and starve the other motor causing
it to stall. The only exception is at very low speeds where this
effect does not matter.
