Your method will work fine to do the transfer while sitting at the
Linux box. If you want to do it from the Windows box, you'll need Samba
or FTP. FTP will probably require less setup, whereas Samba will probably
be more transparent to the user. I haven't set up Samba yet, so I don't know
whats involved, but I will probably be seting it up soon. My server fried
due to lightning some time back, and I'm just starting to build up a
replacement. It was going to be the EMC machine, but I'm not ready
to convert my mill yet. Maybe this winter....
