Centroid servo w/ Koyo encoder

I'm surprised it took somebody suggesting I take it apart for me to do
so. I didn't find out who made the motor, but it is manufactured in
England. The encoder is a Koyo TRDA-VC2000V6-7098. I can't find this
exact model, but it seems to have been replaced with the TRDA-VA
series. http://www.koyoencoder.com/products/pdf/trda_va.pdf The
wiring apears to be the same except mine doesn't have the commutation
signals, but this appears to be an option anyway. I think I have the
wiring figured out for the encoder anyway. Now for the rutex 990h
driver board. Do I understand right that it should have a 24V DC
power supply with enough current to drive the motor? Is this left
connected from the test cable or does it hook into one of the two pin
terminals? My home built one I'm using for gecko201s is just under
80V DC. Can I just use a regulator to drop this down to 24V? Also I
think I was told the motor power comes from one of the two pin
terminals. Is this right, and which one would it be?

Thanks
Nathan Clymer
