If you go back through the news group postings for the mach3 group over the
past month you will find a lot of info on probing.
It is part of the latest development, presently stands at a 3 D cloud point
probing system, and hole centre finder that may only be active with a G100.
Ajax CNC also has probing software with a wide variety of options, but is
rather expensive.

I am quite interested too. The only one I have heard about that works
is the pseudo-proprietary hardware/software of ShopBot.
I would like to know of something more generic. It looks like Mach3
had the ability, but could not find any real information in the docs
about it.
Anyone have a word of knowledge for us on this topic?
