Hi, coolcnc is based on puppy linux - puppylinux.org.
Puppy runs like a train on just about any computer but
obviously for cnc work the more ram the better. I have
downloaded cool cnc and it looks fine although I
havent personally used it - cant afford the cnc
machine! Give it a try, as I know puppy linux well and
it works with very little setup, and they have a great
support community.

Regards,

Brian
