I'm not going to grind a set of jaws for one pulley, which may be all
I'm doing at
one time. The rings are quite easy to make, in many cases FASTER than jaw
grinding.

I have a Phase-II copy of the Buck adjustable chuck. It has a rather
fancy series
of slots and grooves on the replaceable top jaws, and it would take more
than a
few setups the replicate all that. Maybe a plain block of stock with
the right
holes would fit, but I'm not too sure.
