You do not have a prayer of doing this on a home made EDM machine.
I have lots of experience on commercial quality sinker EDM machines, and
this is a challenge even for a modern CNC sinker.
I'm assuming the hole is blind?
If not, a wire EDM is a far better choice if you need high precision at an
affordable cost.
If you cannot use EDM, you are left with the option of making it out of
pieces, but silver brazing would not be my first choice for assembly...I'd
take it to a laser welder to eliminate the heat that will warp all the
precision right out of your parts.
I have one of those, but that's not much help to you in Britain.
You may be able to get a dental laboratory or a jeweller to do it for
you...most of them are equipped with laser welders these days.
If you cannot find anyone, you could send it over to me...but the shipping
two ways will likely exceed the cost of doing it locally.
