Its a big Avon, bigger than a BP much more rigid, much heavier and the
motors are what came with it.
The motors normally fetch over £1000 each second hand, so they are that
bullet proof Id like to keep then.
I did look at dropping the voltage and running geckos or something similar,
but if I run then up at 80V, they dont sound half as good as they do with
160V, and yes I know thats no real reasoning, but really if groups are
selling HV servo cards, they should be as reliable as the 80V ones. There
are actually more complaints out on news groups about geckos than rutex.
