If I was a betting man I would say it produced no meaningfull output
although I do appreciate the truly hacked nature of the hardware. At
least I hope it works better than the vac former:

I just picked up a big plastic storage chest at the local DIY store,
its cream and quite deep, it will just be like a cover/stand with the
printer dropping in from the top. The fact it is cream makes it look
much more like a real 3D printer.

I'm waiting for some bearing in pillow blocks now for the cable drive,
I'm trying it on one side only to start with as my tiny 9mm IKO rails
show no signs of allowing crabbing (even when I had only one side
connected). It also means I can use one of the origional rubber
rollers as the drive roller for the cable, the rubber means I don't
even need to fix the wire securely to the roller as it gets lots of
grip over several turns. I'll be interested to see if reality matches
my theory.
