I will certainly have my rig there. I can take the spindle
speed knob and twist it quite rapidly, accelerating quite a
bit, like 50% variation within a single spindle revolution, and
the thread comes out looking perfect. Of course, I have a high
encoder line count, 1728 cycles/rev, so I get 6912 encoder
counts/rev. And, the spindle rotation is being evaluated 1000
times a second by EMC.
