Arnie, Hannu,
Thanks for the excellent information.
Hannu,
Thanks for the offer of the steppers. I am still wondering whether
my already stretched budget from the mill can stretch some more!
Are there any suppliers of suitable belts and pullies online?
I do keep thinking about finding some old photocopiers to tear
down- but there is always no way of knowing what will be inside. A
local r/c shop nearby has a LOT of car stuff- i have got toothed
belts from there before, mostly smaller than what I invisage, but ya
never know!
The driver I am planning to use is from Hans Wedemeyer's website-
it is limited to 2A but I would assume that it is possible the tweak
the circuit to up the max current limit.
