Re: Conversion/retrofit of lathe to CNC

Hi Dan,
Those amtek motors re good but many have no stub shaft for
mounting the encoder. I was jsut curious what technique you used
for extending the shaft if you needed to do so.
did you drill the existing shaft and glue in a stub? or drill and
thread it? Or some other way?
