Thanks for the help guys, I'll give this stuff a go tonight. They
recommend Mach3 as software with it, it's a unit from DeepGroove.
However I've got access to Powermill at work, and would very much
like to be able to use that. And I have a close friend that uses
Mastercam primarily, and would like him to be able to write posts
aswell.
Primarily however, this is just a learning experience, so it's not
critical. Can I export a post from one of these programs into Mach3?
Apologies, my statement regarding G1 was decidedly unclear. What I
mean is that the mill doesn't have limit switches. My experience with
CNC's have all had limit switches that I would 0 before commencing a
job.
