John,

For limit switches there are basically two choices. One is a micro switch
and the other is a inductive proximity sensor.

I like the inductive proximity sensor as they are normally easy to install
and are non contact. You should select the ones with 2 mm normal sensing
distance. I buy mine from www.Automationdirect.com

Our breakout boards support either one.

You will want a switch on both ends of the X and Y axis travel and one at
the top of the Z axis travel.

In Mach one end will do double duty for the home and limit.
