Arnie,
I've used the probe hooked directly to the pport, it worked fine. The
reason I asked is I was thinking "what's the difference between a NC
touch probe and a NC limit switch?" Not much I would think, and it is
pretty much a given that limit switches are to be wired with a pullup
resistor. Hence the query. More of "am I doing harm to the computer
or touch probe?" sort of question.
