PDF files are primarily produced by Adobe- Acrobat. Adobe developed the standard as a transportable, platform neutral printable file format. Kind of like Autodesk & DXF. They also, like Autodesk keep changing the format to discourage others from sharing in their lucrative markets.

There are several shareware and freeware PDF file makers. However, they don't all have the same bells and whistles as Adobe's current versions. The Adobe acrobat reader version 3.0 is a distributable program that is licensed to all owners of Acrobat 3.0. It can probably be found at adobe's web site. We keep a copy available for down load, at our web site (vectorcam.com) for those that want to print out a pdf order blank.
