At this point, I'd like to stick my 2 cents in. I've subscribed to this, and other related groups, from the time I couldn't even spell CNC. For a while I just read posts, and absorbed others experiences, until I felt as if there was something specific I needed to ask. I sent bunches of emails to vendors, to learn enough to do a Sherline/CNC conversion. That helped immensely, and I then graduated to doing a full-blown control conversion on a Series I Bridgeport CNC. Amazingly, it worked, thanks to guys like Mariss and Bob Campbell, who were more than willing to share their knowledge.
Keep up the good work, knowing that I'm still lurking in the background, and learning something new every day.
