To everyone who has helped;

I got a 12 V winch with planetary transmission, rated for 800 kg pull.
230 € w. 16% tax and guarantee or about 300$.

We will see tomorrow (7 am) how it goes ...

I suspect it;
- is more than powerful enough
- is slow
- Will work 100% for the intended application.
