Just one week to go until CABIN FEVER
They have a web site cabinfeverexpo.com with some details, but here is a
summary.
Friday is setup for the show and an all day auction. Hundreds of lots,
models, machines, tools. etc One particular item in the auction is a 1/3
size model of a Hardinge lathe- fully functional and a major work of
beauty by Bill Huxhold. Follow the link on the cabin fever site to
photos of the auction items.
Saturday and Sunday is show time- over 200 vendors selling everything
from books, plans, machines, tools, metal. Note all the vendors are
selling metal working stuff- no sunglass or other junk vendors.
Several hundred exhibitors- exhibitors are showing off their work, not
selling anything. There is a consignment sales area where exhibitors can
sell a few items-
There is a 40x60ft pond for running model boats- mostly live steamers.
There are several huge layouts running G scale live steam trains.
There is a seminar series all day Saturday and Sunday. I will do my
usual "Adventures in Home shop CNC" Brian Barker will do a "Mach3 Software"
On Sunday Morning there will be a 1 hour seminar "CNC Roundtable" that
is meant to be just an open discussion to share and hear about what
others are doing.
Mach will have a booth in the vendor area with a mini mill to demo and
Brian to answer questions.
The show is in York PA, lots of nearby Hotels and restaurants.
Show admission is just $10 for all 3 days and all events.
See you there!
