Would not be an ideal setup but could be a real nice spindle motor? You could
do indexing etc. Hardinge lathe with one of those could make all sorts of
neat parts!!!! With live tooling on the cross slide, one could drill cross
holes, off center holes or mill flats, slots etc. Milling spirals would not
be hard.......
