Decent Table Top mill vise?

On our Haas machine using a high quality vise is pretty much industry standard for work holding short run and one off parts. On the table top machines, the vices I have used (Sherline, Taig) are inconvenient to use and cause a huge loss in the setup rigidity.
Has anyone seen or used an appropriately sized vise for these small machines that works as well as the big Parlec and Kurt vices we use on the big boy machines?
If not, anyone have any ideas of what a great small machine vise would look like. May be something we consider making.
