Dave: Thanks! I sorta have. I have a 92 page manual just on our BladeRunner 4/5 axis motion control box, from picking the PC and setting it up, loading MACH3, to loading our drivers and screens and doing the testing. There is a section on "Table Physics" that covers the mechanical considerations for a plasma table with formulas for doing the speed and torque calculations. I have almost 70 pages (separate manual) on just the THC plug-in hardware option (DTHCII). There is a page or two just on how plasma cutting works and the considerations for a good cut. I just published a 25 page paper on our new Dynamic Cut Control (DCC) for CNC plasma.

We publish all of our Manuals in PDF on the website and encourage builders to include a download in their research process.

I run a full time Yahoo support forum for my users and guys interested in building and using a CNC plasma table. We support CNC "orphans" (from some of the vendors that are no longer in business or that refuse to support older products or secondary buyers of used tables).
