A bit on the small size, but maybe OK as there is no "machine cutting
tool resistance". On smaller controllers though, you won't get
microstepping, so you will have half or full stepping only, which means
you will have to gear down a lot to get the precision, and have a computer
fast enough to pump out lots of steps per second to get the speed.
