Absolutely.
They work fine for me, and the specs are more than good enough.
On my lathe I have better than 1 micron resolution, with belts, I highly doubt you will need or have configured for more.
I use 30.000 steps per mm on z axis.

Can someone tell me if 5 mm x 15 mm HTD pulleys and belts are man enough to drive the X and Y axiz of my bridgeport clone milling machine fited with servo motors? Or should I use 8 mm x 20 mm (or 30 mm wide) pulleys and belts?
