There may be some useful information on the mechanics of gearing,, etc. in the stock drive catalogues on this. Check on their website and see what they have or give them a call. Alternatively, find a local expert in an automation and control company.

Can someone tell me if 5 mm x 15 mm HTD pulleys and belts are man enough to drive the X and Y axiz of my bridgeport clone milling machine fited with servo motors? Or should I use 8 mm x 20 mm (or 30 mm wide) pulleys and belts?
