I bought one of these things and have to say they are pretty good. Mine in a wooden case / box.
It is amazing what you get for the money, air pump, water pump, laser psu, tube, metal case driver etc.
It does raster engraving, can cut 6mm ply with a few passes +10 or so.
The 2w diode will never get this far.
Also, any reasonable person can hold a wrench/allen key / screw driver and re-align and re-tighten anything that came loose from shipping. If you are not able to inspect a device/machine and notice something is loose or wrongly aligned, then you should not be anywhere near a laser of this type or even a laser pointer as far as im concerned.
