Or maybe just draw a circle, extrude circle to your thickness, and then radius the edges to ½ the thickness?

I don't know that cad program specifically, but you must cut off the extra bit of circle past the revolve line. So the picture you revolve looks a bit like a D where the vertical on the D is the revolve line.

I use ACAD 2002 and I am trying to create a solid shape like a doughnut with a filled in centre, like a turned disc like wooden wheel. What I have found is that my version ACAD will not draw a doughnut or revolve a shape where the diameter of the tyre does not allow for a hole in the centre i.e. I want a doughnut with an outside diameter of 6mm with a diameter of the doughnut ring of 4mm. I have even tried drawing a 2D section and revolving it and also extruding along a path.
This is a problem I have never come across before, can anyone help?
