1. Check out the "Pedit" command for turning a bunch of lines and arcs into a polyline. :)
2. You'll need to create no less than 2 objects to make the solid model you want.
Option A. Torus & cylinder
1. The Torus Radius is from the geometric center of the object to the center of the tube.
Option B. "D" shaped closed polyline & Cylinder
