what kind of gun work were you wanting to do

you can get a gunsmith lic, which would cover doing repair and customization
on customers guns the big prob. here is they build 2 lawyers for every gun
I think we pay about 6k a year in lib insurance

for exotic stuff you can get a 07 manufactures $150-3 years
and 02 nfa stamp$500 year and build about anything MG's, silencers
except cannons
and you have to be zoned for doing biz (they check)
depending what state you are in there are quite a few Class 2s
you could work with one of them to build what you want
