No, a DRO will accurately tell you where the table is, but if what you
are worried about is expansion of the spindle that moves the head away
fomr its 'normal' position, then the DRO wont show that. Im sure this is
a very tiny error that most of us would never even know how to measure,
but in this case a DRO would not help.
