I have gotten some of the equivalent material from Philadelphia Resins. It
appears to just be a high quality epoxy with a filling of powdered graphite.
I have not had the opportunity to experiment, but I did pick up a small tub
of powdered graphite from McMaster Carr and have some high quality
laminating resin on hand. Plan to see if I can get decent results from a
home brewed mix. Also thought that using a bronze fill on the epoxy along
with the graphite may give it better properties, but then again the
commercial stuff does not have any metal filling in it.
BTW, I used the Philadelphia Resin release spray on the bushings I cast and
there was no magic in getting it to release.
