Hello all;
Fred May here. LURKER, located in southeastern Ma. Millis. Retired running an old Southbend 10" heavy. Bridgeport with
steppers (cobbled together rig) with AH-HA software. Various other equipment.Have recently become interested in Servos. Once ran
a Bridgeport with them, and loved it. Looks like with a lot of luck and help I could run emc and LINUX.
I went out and bought a book on Linux , with 3 cd's. Problem is after I got it home I found that it was issue "5.1". Question
is should I try to return it and find "5.2" somewhere or live with it.
Thanks for any opinions and for the wellspring of info so far.
