operated part is/was a bar feed mechanism, the turret indexes nicely but i
was dissapointed there is no easy way to turn normally but I may get around
it. I bought it as a heap of parts for 55 pounds UK, assured it was all
there, It was plus a few bits that didnt belong. I realy need to get some
more tooling to make it usefull. It would have been nice if it were a cam
auto but I didnt know much about it when I bought it from the son in law of
the late owner. I thought any lathe is better than no lathe. I was told it
was mainly used during the war (maybe both) to make parts for mines. I have
to modify a pulley for it to avoid flat belts, time I had another go at
it........
