Jon, there's an outfit doing spray-on (I think) urethane bed liners for pickup trucks; Rhino Liners is the name, IIRC. That might be a possibile source for the coating. I've seen a thick brush-on product for repairing vibratory bowl coatings, just not sure where right now.

Ok - Devcon Flexane - p.1869 in the 99/2000 MSC Big Book. Different versions for applying with a brush, trowel, or by casting; from $20-40 a pound.
