Thanks Fred,
I'll check out StlWork, StlTrans. Might just fill in the void I have on
this USGS .DLG data. There's hope for Felton.DLG yet!

> Check the StlTrans demo. In the help file there is a LOT of info about file formats and what you can do with them. It does have the ability to create a mesh from some USGS data. The explanation is very detailed, with web links and specific instructions, and file format info. There is a picture on the StlTrans specs page of the Grand Canyon mesh that I scaled the Z x 10, as it appears in StlWork.
