I have a number of small (c) programs that write G-code for standard
things, like milling round and rectangular pockets, drilling hole
circles,
etc. See http://www.artsci.wustl.edu/~jmelson/gcode.html

For more complex shapes, I use Bobcad/CAM Ver 16.1

essentially same as above.

EMC

Servo to Go (classic version) 8-channel motion control card
Pico Systems PWM servo amplifiers
(see : http://www.artsci.wustl.edu/~jmelson/servo.html )

Bridgeport 9 x 34" round-ram turret mill, updated with 1J head,
ancient Excellon/GE monomatic X and Y axis drives with precision-ground
ballscrews, and my own Z axis drive.
