Why? When "new" is surely cheaper, and clearly BETTER! If something is
running hot, it is NOT because the replacement you used is causing it!
Probably, whatever causes the overheating (IF "over"!) is what caused the old
rectifier to blow! Do some more checking and testing before imagining that
an "old exact" is better! It almost-surely IS NOT!!!!!!!!!!!
