Let's see If I've got it right:500 lines encoder X 4=2000 per rev.
X 5tpi= 10000 steps/" right? if i want to move it at 60 ipm(1"/sec.)
the computer will need to send 10000 steps/sec.X 3 axis= 30000
steps/sec. Would a 486 dx50 or a p200 be up to it?
I'm running half step with cmtronics controller+ desknc on a 486
dx50 and I can get up to 200ipm on a single axis.Have not cut
anything yet,as I'm not donne with the upgrade yet.(just testing xyz)
thank's again.
Fogassa.
