Well, I am going to say that my former statement about BobCad 17 as a
lathe program was in error. My opinion has changed. Why? I found the
REAL manual. The printed manual was vague and mentioned very little
about actually using the lathe capabilities of version 17. The real nuts
and bolts information on how to use it was in the help files. I just
assumed that the printed manual would tell it all. WRONG! So I printed
up what was in the help file and am now a happy camper. I am making
chips.Lots of chips. It generated the code to rough out the part. There
were 657 lines of gcode to rough this piece.
