Dan,

The advantage to starting with Vector is that when you decide you need a CAM
module (my suggestion to anyone looking at CNC is get the CAD/ CAM package
up front) you will already know the program that drives it. I have played
with various .dxf to g-code utilities and none of them compare with using
Vector and the integrated CAM functions and g-code generation.
