Well said. Sort of like the 1.8GPF volume toilets(do you still say
Loo?)designed to save water over their 3.0GPF ancestors; But which
often must be flushed twice! 1.8+1.8 > 3.0! Doesn't make much sense.
Of course someone will point out that "everytime you only flush once,
you save"

FYI, we call these "kernies" and use them on larger wire sizes.
